Edit any page of your website by typing in plain English.
Type what should change in your dashboard and your site updates. What it can change, and how to get good results.
How editing works
Open your dashboard at app.firstgen.dev. Your site is on the left and the chat ("Change your site") is on the right. Type what should change, in your own words. FirstGen makes the change, tells you in a sentence what it did, and your site reloads so you can check it.
Things you can type
Add our Saturday hours: 9 to 1.
Change the phone number to (317) 555-0142.
Add drain cleaning to our services.
Make the headline mention we're family owned.
Remove the third review.
Move the truck photo to the top.
Add a page about our service area. What the chat can and can't change
Can change | Can't change |
|---|---|
Wording, headline and about text | Layout, colors and fonts |
Services, hours, phone and address | Your domain (use Connect domain) |
Pages for services and towns | Billing (use the Billing tab) |
Remove or reorder reviews and photos | Add new photos or write reviews |
For a new photo or a design change, email it to support@firstgen.dev. The chat won't add claims you didn't give it, like licenses, awards or guarantees.
Tips for good edits
One change per message works best.
Give the exact words when wording matters: "Change the headline to: Same-day plumbing in Carmel."
If a reply says it couldn't make a change, try saying it differently, or email us.
Every request and reply is saved with your account, so we can help if something looks off.
